Backed by private equity firm Axcel, Acurum is on a growth journey to transform the Nordic property services market through consolidation, innovation, and scale.
Formed in 2024 through the merger of 15 companies across Sweden and Norway, Acurum focuses on TIC services, maintenance and incident management related to air quality, moisture and piping systems. The group now includes 19 companies, 600 employees and SEK 900 million in annual revenue. With Axcel’s backing, Acurum is scaling rapidly across the Nordics through both organic growth and acquisitions.
We are now recruiting a Head of Group Business Control to build and lead this function from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to step in early and take full ownership of shaping the company’s financial framework and performance steering from day one.
As one of the first central hires, you’ll work closely with the Group CFO, country directors, and senior leadership to design and embed the control model that will support the company’s continued growth and scale.
Your challenge
- Lead and develop group-wide management reporting, including business KPIs, forward-looking metrics
- Set and drive the strategic process through key planning activities, including business plans, budgets, and forecasts.
- Lead group-level business reviews and provide data-driven recommendations
- Build and enhance BI capabilities to enable and support strategic decision-making
- Support M&A workstreams
- Work hands-on to shape clear, actionable board presentations
Your background
- MSc or BSc with minimum ten years of relevant work experience in FP&A and business controlling, prior this preferable experience from audit och advisory experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a knack for synthesizing large amounts of information, summarizing issues, and thinking creatively.
- Strong ability to interpret and communicate data-driven insights in a clear and business-relevant way, demonstrating commercial awareness and tailoring the message to different stakeholder needs
- High proficiency in Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI)
- Fluent in Swedish and English, spoken and written.
