Scandic is a leading player in the hotel industry, and we are now looking for a driven and analytical Business Controller who wants to contribute to our commercial success. This position is part of our dynamic Group Control team and involves close collaboration with the commercial organization.

Within Scandic Group Finance, you will work in a team, Group Control, responsible for Scandic's external and internal financial reporting, financial planning and follow-up, internal control, as well as group-wide financial systems such as group consolidation and budget/forecast/analysis. This is an exciting position that will support and work close to our commercial team.

The position is based at Scandic's headquarters in Stockholm at Sveavägen 167.

Your Opportunity:

• Provide support to Scandic’s commercial organization, which includes Commercial Strategy, Sales, Group & Meeting, Marketing, Revenue Management & Distribution, Brand & Customer Experience, and Loyalty.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting work for the commercial organization.
• Create and develop tools (modeling tools, key figures, and KPIs) to support the organization's work related to set goals.
• Work on business cases and follow-up of products and services.
• Support the development of financial management, follow-up, analysis, and improvement work for Scandic’s commercial organization.
• Prepare and present financial analyses and business cases to the commercial management.
• Handle various ad hoc tasks that the commercial operations need support with.

Profile:

• Master’s degree in business & administration from a reputable university with 5–15 years of work experience.
• You have experience working in a Nordic or global company as a Business Controller.
• You have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and budgeting and analysis systems.
• Fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.
• You have experience in successfully leading projects.
